About the Reorganization

The Office of Instructional Technology has been centralized. Each borough has an office that functions like a branch of central's OIT initiatives.

Each borough office will focus on delivering services to a target audience citywide. Each borough office has a director, 2 assistant directors, and 5 instructional technology specialists. The borough directors and their office's focuses are as follows:

Staten Island / South Brooklyn: Celine Azoulay: iLead: Services for principals / assistant principals
North Brooklyn: Barbara Feaster: iLearn: Services for services targeted to students
Queens: Winnie Bracco: iTeach: Services for teachers
Bronx: Crystal Lindsay: iCoach: Services for coaches (all PD providers (computer liaisons are now considered coaches))
Manhattan: Teri Bader: iSite: Web services

While each borough targets an audience citywide and delivers theses services citywide, the borough offices will support all initiatives in their geographic area. This means this office will continue to provide support for all services to you.

So, how can we be of service? Please comment with your thoughts!

Today we're going to create an iGoogle account, learn how to access it and save it as our homepage, add content, and move/delete content.

Below are links to video tutorials for topics we learned in this workshop. These are narrated video directions that you can pause, rewind, and replay to help you remember how to work with RSS.
